Marla McFadin MFT | Psychotherapy
For Therapists
Have you lost sight of the full range of feelings and experiences after a loss or an overwhelming experience? Most of us want to be able to respond to the inevitable challenges of life in ways that leave us open and available for experiences of joy, awe, love, serenity and inspiration.

My areas of focus are
  • Depression and Bi-polar disorder
  • 12-Step recovery work
  • Gender expression and sexual identity
  • Survivors of trauma
  • Life transitions
  • Chronic pain
  • Women in menopause
I work from a depth perspective to discover the broader context of your culture and your life. Iím interested in what formed your beliefs and expectations and how these are affecting your life. What you want most to be experiencing and expressing is what we work collaboratively to develop and bring to form.

Therapy is a safe, respectful place to identify new ways of approaching your experiences and to practice taking healthy risks toward the life you want to live.

For 15 years I have been practicing psychodynamic therapy with people of many identities and backgrounds: Heterosexual, LGBTQ, polyamorous, kink, people from a variety of cultural and class contexts and making their way in the world through many different livelihoods.
